"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. I used to be Catholic, and I have nothing per se' against Catholics. Some Catholics I know from my experience in the Kairos ministry are the most beautiful, loving people I have ever known. However, many Catholics do not really know what the "official" position of the Church is on many things they know in their heart and believe to be true. For example:
Of one thing there is no doubt: CONTROVERSY PREVAILS. The Bible says that God created Man "in His image, and in His likeness". Unless you believe that God is a one-celled organism, or a bit of "protoplasm", then either Man has always been Man, or the Bible is trash.
The same goes for the Book of Revelation - either it is ALL TRUE, or it is BALONEY; either it means what it says, or we are left to script our own interpretations. If you want to know precisely what you would have to hold as true to believe in "evolution", get my book "The Book of NeoGenesis".
