Falun Gong or Falun Dafa is an exercise similar to Tai Chi. The practice has wonderful physical and emotional benefits, and is widely practiced. In China, people who practice Falun Gong are persecuted, tortured, and beaten to death in the most brutal way. The Chinese Government is also supporting ORGAN HARVESTING from LIVE POLITICAL PRISONERS. The market for ORGAN TRANSPLANTS is supporting this brutal practice - it MUST BE STOPPED! The American media is silent about these atrocities - they are hypocrites, and as Jesus Christ said:

     I am a Born-Again Christian and a Scientologist. I am also a Vietnam veteran, so I have had my share of persecutions because of my beliefs and because of who I am. I can empathize with people who are being persecuted, and especially for the reasons that Falun Gong is being persecuted. I defended your right in this country to be free in your religion and privacy; your rights as American citizens. I may not believe in what you believe in, but I put my life on the line to defend your God-given right to choose what to believe in, and I offer what little I can accomplish for you as an attempt to make the plight of Falun Gong a thing of the past. China's callous trade in human organs continues to make news worldwide. The Epoch Times reports that an Israeli involved in brokering organs for transplant acknowledged that Falun Gong practitioners were among those whose organs were being sold.

Take Action against Organ Harvesting
In order to stop Chinese physicians from stealing the bodily organs of living Falun Gong practitioners in China, Friends of Falun Gong board member and New York Medical College Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry Dr. Abraham L. Halpern is calling for a massive email campaign directed at the World Medical Association. It is Dr. Halpern's contention that without such a concerted effort, the glacial pace of diplomatic efforts will surely result in more lives lost. PLEASE JOIN THIS EFFORT. Challenges to Beijing's 2008 Olympics
Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of California has initiated a resolution in the House of Representatives urging the United States Government to "take immediate steps to boycott the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in August 2008" unless China's Communist regime stops human rights abuses against Chinese citizens. Rep. Rohrabacher is currently encouraging his colleagues to co-sponsor the resolution. Please contact your Representative and urge his/her support.

An international effort to spotlight China's disregard for human rights ahead of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing has been organized by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China. With representatives in the U.S., Canada and Europe, CIPFG includes human rights advocates, attorneys and public officials who investigate allegations related to the persecution. The Global Human Rights Torch Relay set off on August 9th in Athens, Greece and will end in Asia before the start of the Olympic Games. The group lists stopping the persecution of Falun Gong followers and their supporters among its demands.

Vancouver Attack
In other news, three men assaulted a Falun Gong practitioner who was meditating in a makeshift hut outside the Chinese consulate in Vancouver. Raymond Zhang was taking part in a six-year-long vigil outside the consulate on August 2nd when he was threatened at gunpoint and punched by the assailants. The three men were of Asian descent. They tore up Zhang's signs, destroyed the hut and fled before police arrived. This is the second time Zhang was attacked. Canadian Falun Gong practitioners point to a pattern of intimidation and violence they believe is directed by the Chinese government.
